In a field that is rapidly evolving, I will likely be signing up for additional courses to keep learning as much as possible. I am a Civil Engineer and have always enjoyed power automate, dynamo, and other tools to make my job easier, but this course has pushed me to become a go-to resource in my office for AI.

I am nearly finished with the 18 week CyberSecurity bootcamp offered by QuickStart. The cost is $8000, with online videos, labs, 2 weekly classes, projects, and career services with job placement assistance. The course material is directly from CompTIA,... Read More which included the video lessons and labs. In reference to the Zoom classes; I was in a twice a week for 2 hours cohort, and it was not worth the time. The instructor was very knowledgeable, personable, and could teach. The biggest issue was that it did not appear that he had a roadmap to follow, like there was a disconnect between him and QuickStart. I cannot speak to the shorter length bootcamp with daily classes, so that may be a better, but the twice a week class was not sufficient to convey all the material, review, or build momentum in the learning process. The biggest positive has been the projects, but skills could be tested through smaller assignments and labs. If having the projects as part of a portfolio helps to get a job, then my review would be higher. As of this time, and having seen other reviews about the career services, I have little hope that having the feature will make the course worth the money. Overall I would not recommend the QuickStart CyberSecurity Bootcamp. A better option would be to go directly to CompTIA and complete the course for Security+. I am also taking Coursera courses, and this is another completely viable option, both of which, CompTIA and Coursera, will save a lot of money.

The program was presented in a great format for me. A lot of videos that can be watched in your own time within the timeframe of the length of that particular course. Its been a while I recently graduated from my cryber security bootcamp with quickstart. Overall their curriculim was good along with the labs. I switched my groups 3 times and quickstart never asked me for anything extra. Really appreciate what they did... Read More for me.
