The program's focus on career readiness is evident through its practical components. The online contests were excellent preparation for the pressures of technical interviews, while the mock interviews provided invaluable, direct feedback, which was crucial for understanding my strengths and identifying knowledge gaps. The key to maximizing the value of this course, however, lies in the dedicated project modules. I found that committing to building a small but detailed, real-world project was the most critical step in cementing the knowledge gained. Fully utilizing this opportunity is essential for translating the academic learning into tangible experience and successfully preparing for the hard requirements of the job market.

"My scaler academy journey from working in Non-IT role to SDE-1"

Hi,
Reason I joined scaler - I did my BCA , post that I tried to get into defence but failed in the competitive exam and neither I had a skill to get into IT. So started my career as Recruiter ( Non-IT) role and eventually I needed to up skill so then... Read More

Journey as student at scaler - We had classes in 3 days in a week with flexible batches morning/ evening. Great instructors and course curriculum. Teaching assistance was also helpful whenever I was stuck with the problem.

TBH honest I was not attending my classes regularly but was finishing up that in my weekends.

Journey with respect to Placements- The eligibility criteria for placement was DSA and SQL but later on the eligibility policy was revised and eligibility criteria was to complete mock interview till LLD module eventually I was shocked and geared up my self to complete that.

I did get an opportunities for an interview with the companies , the ratio was 10: 4 were for every 10 applications I used to get 4 opportunities for the first round based on my educational background/ skill.

I eventually was not able to make in my second rounds for most of the interview and yes I was able to clear in-person interview for my current job where I am working as SDE 1.

Just be consistent, hardworking / smart and honest to yourself and you would get what you deserve !!!!
Thank you!!!

"My Honest Review of Scaler’s Data Science & Machine Learning Program (Joined Feb 2024)"

I enrolled in Scaler’s Data Science and Machine Learning course in February 2024. As my learning journey progressed, particularly when I reached the Machine Learning module, I decided to upgrade to the Master’s program. I was impressed by the depth of... Read More

What I Really Liked:
Scaler offers some of the best instructors I’ve come across highly experienced and industry-savvy. The curriculum is designed not just to teach concepts but to prepare you for the real world. It includes mock interviews, hands-on real-world projects, and in-depth conceptual clarity. The teaching quality is exceptional, and it’s clear that Scaler focuses on delivering **pure knowledge** that is relevant, practical, and future-oriented.
This program is ideal for those who are truly passionate about learning and want to understand how things really work behind the scenes in AI and ML.

Things to Keep in Mind:
However, if you're new to computer science or don’t have a programming background, you may find the initial phases manageable, but as the course progresses and concepts become deeper, it will demand significant time and effort.
Also, for working professionals trying to juggle a full-time job alongside this course it can be challenging. I’ve seen some of my batchmate/s struggle to keep up, especially with module tests, assignments, case studies, and 2-hour-long lectures. But at the same time, I’ve also seen people in the same situation succeed simply because they stayed consistent, dedicated, and gave it their best.
You have to give time to your learning, trust the process, and invest in your growth because the results do come. Scaler provides all the resources, but it’s up to you to make the most of them. If you are consistent and put in the effort, **you will nail it**.

Placement & Outcome So Far:
After spending 1.5 years with Scaler, I’ve gained solid knowledge in AI and ML. While I’ve landed an internship and received a few offers, I’m still waiting for the right opportunity that aligns with my career goals. But I truly believe in the skills I’ve developed here and continue to apply and prepare because I know my time will come.

Final Verdict:
Choosing Scaler was one of the best decisions I made for my learning and career. If you're serious about data science, ready to commit time, and want deep, practical knowledge with real-world application I strongly recommend Scaler.
