Enrolling in Scaler was one of the best decisions I made for my career. The curriculum is exceptionally well-structured and aligned with what top tech companies actually look for during interviews. From data structures and algorithms to system design... Read More
What stood out the most for me was how consistent and hands-on the learning was. Weekly assignments, mock interviews, and mentorship from industry professionals helped me stay accountable and continuously improve. The instructors break down complex topics into digestible concepts, and the peer learning environment keeps you motivated.
Thanks to Scaler, I was not only able to strengthen my fundamentals but also build the confidence to tackle interviews at top-tier companies. As a result, I ended up getting 6 offers from product-based companies — something I never imagined before joining the program.
If you're serious about leveling up and cracking multiple tech interviews, I highly recommend Scaler. It's not just another course — it's a career accelerator.

"My Personal Learning Journey with Scaler"
💡 What I liked
Rigorous curriculum with real depth. Covering DSA, system design, full‑stack, the coursework is no joke. You'll be pushed to your limits, but come out much stronger—perfect for preparing coding interviews.
Mentor & peer support. Live sessions,... Read More
Career-focused prep. Resume/LinkedIn review, mock interviews, and negotiation coaching were invaluable, and helped me land interviews sooner than I expected.
Constantly updated. They refresh the content frequently to align with industry trends and hiring needs.
⚠️ Watch-outs
Time sink. At ~15+ hrs/week, on top of a job or studies, it gets heavy fast. If you're not disciplined, it’s easy to fall behind.
Most of the job opportunities centered in Bangalore. Making it challenging for people looking for job in some other cities.

What I found especially useful is the flexibility of the program. Scaler provides options to pause or reset the course, which makes it very manageable alongside a full-time job. Overall, it's a well-structured, high-quality program that's worth the investment.
If you're ready to work hard for 1.5 to 2 years, I would definitely recommend investing in Scaler. You’ll need to put in extra effort outside of your job — it’s a bit tough, but absolutely doable.

"My Review on Scaler"
What is your review of Scaler Academy?
My Review of Scaler Academy
Scaler Academy has built a strong reputation as a structured, intensive program for software engineers aiming to improve their problem-solving skills, system design knowledge, and overall... Read More
Strengths of Scaler Academy
Structured Curriculum – The program covers DSA, System Design, LLD, and HLD in a way that builds a solid foundation for cracking tough interviews.
Mentorship and Networking – Learners get direct guidance from experienced engineers at top companies, which is a significant advantage.
Placement Assistance – The dedicated career team provides support with mock interviews, resume building, and direct referrals to hiring companies.
Peer Learning and Slack Communities – Engaging with peers through group studies, problem-solving streaks, and dedicated discussion forums makes learning more interactive.
Flexibility to Switch Instructors – If a particular instructor’s teaching style doesn’t match, learners can switch batches or instructors.
Challenges to Consider
Time Commitment – It’s an intensive program that requires a consistent effort of 2–3 hours daily. Without discipline, it’s easy to fall behind.
High Cost – While it provides value, the fee can be high, especially for those taking loans or EMIs. But it's far less than college fees which doesn't any productive value as such.
Self-Initiative is Key – Scaler provides placement assistance, but learners who proactively apply on LinkedIn and participate in mock interviews tend to have better results.
Loneliness in Self-Paced Learning – Unless learners actively engage with the community or form study groups, studying alone can feel isolating.
Is Scaler Worth It?
For those who are serious about improving their fundamentals and willing to put in the effort, Scaler can be an excellent investment. However, if someone expects an easy path without consistent practice, they may not get the desired results. The biggest takeaway is that Scaler provides the resources, but success still depends on individual dedication.
Would I recommend Scaler? Yes, for those willing to commit to learning. It’s a strong platform for career growth, but it works best when combined with self-initiative and persistence.

"Scaler DSML Review: Industry-Relevant Learning with Room for Placement Improvements"
My Experience with Scaler Academy’s Data Science & Machine Learning Program (DSML)
I enrolled in Scaler’s Data Science and Machine Learning (DSML) program in February 2023, and my overall experience has been extremely positive, especially in terms of curriculum... Read More
Curriculum & Learning Experience:
The curriculum is exceptionally well-designed, up-to-date, and aligned with current industry requirements. Every topic is covered in-depth and builds upon foundational concepts, which makes it suitable even for those coming from non-CS backgrounds. Each module ends with a dedicated test, followed by a mock interview, which I found incredibly useful for building interview readiness. These assessments ensure you're not just passively learning but actively preparing for real-world job scenarios. This structured approach clearly sets Scaler apart from many other ed-tech platforms.
Teaching Quality & Mentorship:
Scaler's instructors are top-tier professionals, many of whom are currently working in or have worked at leading tech companies. I was fortunate to be taught by some of the best minds in the industry.Another standout feature is the Teaching Assistant (TA) support — it's prompt, knowledgeable, and accessible. Having a TA readily available to clarify doubts is something rarely seen in most other courses. Whether it’s a conceptual doubt or debugging code, help is always a message away.
Resources & Flexibility:
The dashboard is user-friendly, with access to:Recorded lectures (a blessing for working professionals like me),Well-structured notes & Colab notebooks after each session,Assignments for hands-on practice, which reinforce the concepts effectively.I primarily relied on recorded lectures due to my work schedule, and I never felt like I missed out on anything. The content delivery was smooth, structured, and self-paced friendly.
Placement Support – A Balanced View
When it comes to placement support, I would rate it as moderate. Scaler does provide job referrals, mock interviews, and resume review services. However, the effectiveness highly depends on your background and current job market conditions. As of June 2025, the job market is relatively slow, and hiring has been cautious across industries.
I’ve observed that:
Candidates with prior professional or domain-relevant experience tend to benefit the most from Scaler’s placement support.
Freshers or individuals from non-technical/non-relevant backgrounds may find it more challenging.
A long notice period (e.g., 90 days) also limits placement opportunities, as many companies are reluctant to wait that long.
That said, Scaler can’t fully control the hiring trends or market volatility, but more tailored support or alternate placement strategies for freshers would definitely be appreciated.
Final Verdict:
If you're looking to build solid foundations in Data Science and Machine Learning, especially if you're a working professional, Scaler’s DSML program is a fantastic investment. Their teaching quality, structured learning, resources, and support system are truly among the best in the ed-tech space today.Placement support is decent, especially if you come in with prior experience, but could be improved for freshers and those with long notice periods.
