I was struggling with what to study first , and which concept to study last. I also tried multiple instructors on youtube to learn DSA, System Design but I was always getting distracted. Their they show me their curriculum and after some time I decided to join Scaler and till now I feel that I took the right decision.

I joined Scaler Academy in 2023 when I already had 2.5+ years of experience as a Software Developer. I enrolled in their Data Structures & Algorithms program, and right from the beginning, the experience was structured and professional.

Before the course started, I took a short assessment, and based on my performance, I was placed in the Advanced batch. Scaler also provides the flexibility to choose a lower batch if you prefer, which is great for ensuring you learn at your own pace.

Throughout the program, Scaler covered a wide range of DSA concepts, including:

Arrays, Linked Lists, Stacks & Queues
Trees & Binary Trees
Graphs
Greedy Algorithms
Backtracking
Dynamic Programming
Along with DSA, they also focus on industry-relevant skills, such as:
SQL
Low-Level Design (LLD)
High-Level Design (HLD)
A full-scale industry project involving Kafka, Microservices Architecture, Redis, and more.

The curriculum is divided into modules, and after each module, there are tests and mock interviews which really help in reinforcing concepts and improving problem-solving skills. After every class you have 6-8 question(Easy , Medium, Hard) to practice your learning.

One thing I truly appreciated was the quality of instructors—most of them come from top tech companies and have deep knowledge of real-world systems. Their teaching style is clear, structured, and practical.
They also provide you assistance if you unable to solve the question.

I joined in March 2023 and completed the course almost in May 2025 (Including optional courses). During this period, I undertook plethora of courses. What I loved about the course is the DSA module. I can literally say that I become zero to hero in DSA... Read More just because of the scaler course. All the mentors were excellent, especially Subham Soni, who taught advanced DSA and Naman Bhalla, for HLD. They covered almost every topic that is being asked in software engineering interviews. And mot just the interviewes, but they prepare you for the industry, which is a good thing.

Their placement support was also good, as I could crack multiple offers through their placement (Not big techs, but good companies with descent enough renumeration). The current company which I am working in, I got that opportunity through Scaler only.

The only con I would say is relatively slow place in course completion. Although it was promised that it would get completed in an year and half, it took more than two years to complete. But that's not a big issue, as got lot of things to learn.

thank Scaler Institute for helping me learn new skills and for guiding me to look within myself and discover the best version of me. Yeah it was not easy it took nights and days continues, but I enjoyed learning.

Scaler provides mock interviews, resume sessions, and access to hiring partners, but placement success depends a lot on your own effort. They do bring in companies, but it’s not a guarantee that everyone will get placed.

I completed the 2-year Master’s Program at Scaler, and overall, it was a transformative journey for me.
When I joined, I was all over the place — I didn’t know how to approach problems or build scalable systems. Over time, Scaler helped me grow significantly... Read More as a software developer. My understanding of large-scale, production-ready systems improved immensely. The curriculum, mentors, and peer community pushed me to become better every day.

On the interview side, the DSA training was very solid — most of the questions I encountered in interviews were covered during the course, which boosted my confidence a lot.

However, I do feel that the placement and job support could have been much stronger. There is definitely room for improvement in helping students connect with better opportunities and smoother hiring processes.

Overall, Scaler helped me become a better engineer — and I am grateful for that. But strengthening the placement support would make the program truly exceptional.
