SE-Factory will not teach you a programming language, it will teach you how to think and how to tackle problems for finding the right solution regardless of the programming language you are using. In the end if you know how to solve a problem you will find and learn the syntax to write the code easily (google is your friend! :) )
SE-Factory taught us that with the right mindset we can achieve our potentials and more.
3 months intensive technical training is almost as good as 2 years of experience, even more! when i was hired as a web developer after the boot camp, i noticed that some skills that i acquired from SE-Factory wasn't achieved by seniors with 10 to 12 years of experience that is because jobs tend to be with a specific routine, On the other hand the curriculum of SE-Factory is set specifically to give, even if not on depth for all technologies, an idea on the whole flow of the development process.
What was interesting as well is the soft skills set we was trained on such as: pitching and communicating ideas, CV writing, interviewing skills, management skills, ect..
In addition to being introduced to the local and regional community with success stories from inspiring people.

In short SE-Factory wasn't easy, i had to pause life for 3 months, but it surly was a good time investment.
I was part of the first batch where no reviews exist, but now over 30 people experienced the journey, with almost free subscription and with a 90% employment rate. It isn't a hard decision to make.

SE Factory is a life changing experience. It's not just about the languages, frameworks, or even the concepts you learn. It's about the discipline and discovering your true abilities; you learn how to learn efficiently, and everything else falls under... Read More this. Other than the technical side, we went through a series of hands-on workshops to hone our soft skills and remain up to date with current coding standards, workplace ethics, and emerging technologies. All done to prepare us for the workplace, which paid off extremely well as all of us who graduated received multiple job offers in the first week after graduation, and were employed in the second week.

After getting my Computer Engineering degree I felt empty after few weeks of doing nothing, so I googled game development, installed unity engine and went into a wonderful journey.
That journey was fun until I realized that I need to support myself by... Read More getting a real job. This is where I started to think that SE-Factory might be the best start for my career path.

For our first day in SE-Factory, we had to write few simple scripts with bash with a ridiculous deadline. I didn't have any previous experience with bash, which made me go through some stupid mistakes like putting spaces between = while assigning variables, and such. I had mixed emotions anger, confusion, anxiety and enjoyment.

SE-Factory bombards the students with assignments that has to be done with specific technologies that the students don't have any previous experience with. Our instructor motto is *Google it*. Google is your best tool to learn and solve any problem that you might face.
The program doesn't focus only on your coding skills, but also on your soft skills. We had worships 2-3 times a week on different topics (writing resumes, code maintainability, a glimpse on vim, version control, etc...)

You might say *Hey, I can learn what you did in the past 3 months by myself*. I totally agree with you. Imagine SE-Factory as a simulation for anyone who wants to seek a path to be a proper programmer. It supplies you with pressure, proper guidance and a comfortable environment for only 100$. If you ask me, that's not a half bad deal.

After graduation, we had companies contacting us for an interview. SE-Factory did a great job to connect us with companies, but it's the student job to show what has he accomplished in these 3 months.
Going through SE-Factory was pretty worth while. I advice everyone who seeks a web developer job in a well respected company to apply now!

P.S. I am not getting paid for writing this, so the last sentence was purely my perspective.

The program was one of the best experiences of my life it changed my personality and the way I tackle problems.

During this program I filled the gaps that I missed in the university. Where we used to focus on the theory rather than on the technical skills... Read More that is required in the market. Many topics that I learned in the bootcamp I was familiar with before. But there were always something new to learn so I can say I gained a certain depth of understanding in all the topics from front end to back end and databases and cloud and the whole cycle of development.

The program was not only a technical journey but also a self exploration journey. We used to do check-ins In the morning where we used to talk about certain problems we are facing how we are feeling and repeat that at the end of the day.
We had many technical and soft skills workshops. varying from writing a cv , how to behave in interviews , deep democracy. And the technical ones where vim , test driven development , git best practices , and integrations

Note that I was rejected in the second batch of se factory and I also applied again in the third batch. its not easy to be accepted. And I recommended it to my friends that are still studying in the university.

And regarding the cons I think they should focus more on making the final project in teams and focus on angular or react or ionic. I mentioned that in the feedback sent to us at the end of the program
