I decided that I wanted to do a professional reconversion and learn programming, so I took 3-4 months to understand what it was all about. So I identified my programming language, I checked my technical side, I set a time to study in parallel with a course and I set my Goal, a medium-term plan (approx. 1 year), feasible. I knew I was starting from scratch and it was necessary to familiarize myself with the field. A field that requires a certain language, and where a specific thought is required. In the end, I chose the "Java from scratch" course. Course offered by Software Development Academy. I had the possibility to pay in installments, fact that gave me the chance to continue my plan. Even though the main language was Java, we were easily passed (the group) through Front-End languages as well as testing to familiarize ourselves with the terms and to understand the principles of operation. What helped us in transposing real-life scenarios into small projects and in identifying and solving some problems (as the case may be). The trainers did ok. The course schedule was respected. If a specific problem involving the coordinator arose in the group, this problem was solved. The main reason for choosing a course of this kind was to have a live interaction with the trainer, participating in the discussions during the classes and asking questions every time I had doubts, it made me understand better and I was even more motivated. Another aspect - was guiding the first steps in the field. But last but not least, a broader vision. The rest is up to you.

Read More final project, a project that consisted of creating a portfolio that later helped me apply for a job in the field of UX/UI design. Professional reconversion is not an unfamiliar concept to me, being thus familiar with the challenges that followed. I also had basic knowledge in the field of graphic design, which helped me better understand and consolidate the concepts found in the UX/UI design course. I believe that self-didacticism is very important. The course is well structured from the theoretical point of view, but it's up to everyone how much they want to apply or find out more details about each chapter that the course tries to cover and about Figma.

Mereu mi-am dorit sa urmez o cariera in IT, dar din pacate timpul si locul actual de munca nu imi permiteau sa urmez o facultate in domeniu. Faptul ca am sunat si am primit raspunsurile de care aveam nevoie m-a determinat sa ma inscriu la urmatorul curs de Tester Software. Cursul este foarte explicit, trainerii au cunstiinte mai mult decat suficiente cat sa ne raspunda la toate curiozitatile. Rabdarea, ajutorul si profesionalismul trainerilor m-au facut sa recomand acest curs prietenilor mei si continui sa-l recomand oricarei persoane care observ ca are dubii in legatura cu schimbarea profesionala.
