"From Career Break to Data Science Career with Springboard"
Springboard gave me exactly what I needed to transform my career journey. Coming from a web development background and returning after a long break, I was searching for a program that combined structure, accountability, and career support. Springboard... Read More
The curriculum is challenging yet rewarding, and every project adds real value to your portfolio. Having a mentor by my side made all the difference—complex concepts became clear, and I had someone to guide me through roadblocks. The career services team and job guarantee further boosted my confidence that I was investing my time wisely.
What I valued most was the accountability system. With deadlines, mentor calls, and ongoing support, I stayed consistent in my studies and built momentum that carried me through the program. This consistency helped me not only complete the track but also prove to myself—and employers—that I was committed to coming back stronger.
If you’re looking for a program that combines flexibility with strong support, and truly prepares you for a new career in data science, Springboard is the way to go.

What stood out to me most was the 1:1 mentorship. My mentor explained complex concepts in simple, practical terms and gave me the confidence to apply what I learned in real-world projects. The projects themselves are well-designed and closely mirror industry problems, which helped me build a portfolio that I can confidently showcase to employers.
Another key strength of the program is the way it keeps you accountable. Between mentor check-ins, career coaching, and project deadlines, you’re encouraged to study consistently and maintain momentum—something that’s so important when learning online. This structure helped me build discipline, finish projects on time, and stay focused every day.
The career services team was also a highlight. They guided me through resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies, which made the transition process smoother. While the program is rigorous and requires serious time commitment, the support provided along the way makes it worth it.
I would highly recommend Springboard to anyone serious about building a career in data science or upskilling in tech.

"Would strongly consider a different bootcamp"
I just didn't like it. The simulation labs were from Windows 95. All the graded assignments are short answer or essay, which is not a cybersecurity skill. All forty assignments that you turn in for a grade were short answer or essay. The reading assignments... Read More

"Buyer Beware – Misleading Job Guarantee & Poor Support"
I enrolled in this program in 2020 based on their heavy marketing of a “job guarantee” and a claimed 99% placement rate. Like many others, I trusted those promises — enough that I even convinced my mother to help pay for the tuition. I worked through... Read More
When a job offer I received was rescinded, the program’s career support proved ineffective. My assigned career coach offered little practical help, and I later found that multiple other students had similar complaints. Eventually, my applications slowed because the market had shifted, but I still expected the “guarantee” to mean what any reasonable person would think it means: If you can’t get me into a job, you refund my tuition.
Instead, they tried to offer a fraction of what I paid — at first misrepresenting the math (calling $1,100 “25%” of tuition when it was really 20%), and only correcting it after I pointed it out. When I pressed for the full refund I believe I’m owed, I was met with PR-style responses, LinkedIn blocking from staff, and an unwillingness to acknowledge their own marketing implied far more than they delivered.
This entire experience has left me financially strained, emotionally drained, and with zero results in the career I trained for. I’ve since connected with other former students who feel misled or abandoned by the program after paying thousands.
If you’re considering this course, know that their “job guarantee” is not what you think it is. Read every word of their terms (which they will lean on to deny refunds) and don’t expect meaningful accountability if things go wrong. There are other learning options that don’t involve misleading promises or playing games with people’s livelihoods.
