As time went by, and I slowly started understanding the Figma and concepts of UX/UI, I started to enjoy learning the subject matter. Overall, Springboard is a great way to get some experience and learn about the field you want to become knowledgeable in. I would recommend it.

Pros:

Flexibility: Self-paced learning allowed me to study while managing other responsibilities.

Cons:

Self-Discipline Required: You need strong time management skills to stay on schedule without daily deadlines.
Limited Peer Interaction: Unlike a classroom setting, there's less opportunity to engage in live collaboration with peers.
Job Guarantee Conditions: The job guarantee has strict eligibility requirements and doesn’t apply to every situation.

Overall, Springboard gave me a solid foundation in data analytics and helped me build both technical skills and confidence. While the path hasn’t been easy, I now feel prepared to pursue opportunities and grow in the field.

Springboard has a very good curriculum that hits the major ideas of programming full stack web applications. The career support and the mentorship program is helpful with getting you through the material. The mentors can be hit or miss, but you can change... Read More mentors if you need to. Overall, I feel like it prepared me to go into the software development field without too many extra requirements. It is a good introduction to web development covering everything from html and css to JavaScript and SQL.

Pros: This course covers a lot of relevant topics to both backend and frontend. There is also a tons of information to learn! There are also a handful of great mentors to choose from and if you can always switch as well should you not mesh well. Great... Read More career coaches that give extremely helpful information when it comes to the job world. This course has an awesome support staff that will check up on you and make sure you are doing okay in the course as well as you can reach out for anything and they will respond quickly.

Cons: Sometimes there is outdated code and dependencies that have not been updated. Pricing can be on the higher side compared to other bootcamps but I feel like it's worth it given all the pros.

I have nothing but praise for just about everything for Springboard's cybersecurity course. From the Linkedin learning videos to the practical labs, from student support to mentor assistance, and from the course material to the resources available, Springboard... Read More has made learning cybersecurity exciting and as close to the real-world experience as possible. The only downside for me was the intensity of the course. Juggling with having a job and taking care of family, six months was just not enough time to finish the course on time. Every lab, video, exercise, and paper has an estimated time that it should take you to complete, but I found myself taking at least two times longer to complete for a better understanding of the content.

Springboard was amazing in helping me learn the foundations of software engineering, and supporting me in producing high-quality projects on subjects I was interested in. The only negative I have with the course is that the video content can struggle to keep up with the ever changing technology so getting through some of content was a little confusing. But again there are plenty of resources to help get you through it. I feel confident that I have the skill and knowledge to land a job even in this tough market!
