The WE Program laid a robust foundation for me in the realms of coding and programming, while also immersing me in the intricacies of the corporate landscape from an early stage. Guided by exceptional mentors who were unwavering in their support, I found my interest in coding right from my 1st year. The program always focused on making great programmers, teaching us how to write optimal code, how to approach any problem, and how to write clean code. We were provided with mock interviews, thus making us placement ready. Moreover, the program's foresight in exposing us to the various cutting-edge technologies prevalent in today's market ensured that we remained ahead of the curve. As a result, not only did I hone my technical acumen, but I also gained a competitive edge over my peers within my college. WE also taught me so many emotions, and how to cope with them. There were times when I felt inferior to my peers. There were times when I was very uncertain and doubtful about myself. There were times when I was stressed about every single thing around me. But the focus WE gave on soft skills and communication would always support me and help me grow mentally by getting me out of my comfort zone. I easily managed to get an internship offer from Twilio in my 3rd year, 2nd semester. But that year being the peak time of layovers, my offer soon got revoked. Yet I managed to stay on track, and tried my best to focus on what's ahead of me, rather than contemplating on what I lost. And so, I successfully got an FTE offer from Micron in my next semester. In retrospect, my journey with the WE Family transcended mere skill acquisition; it was a transformative experience that fortified my passion for programming and positioned me for success in the dynamic landscape of technology. It always stood as a supporting pillar, even after my graduation from the program, by constantly connecting with us. I am profoundly grateful for the invaluable lessons learned and the indelible memories forged along the way. Thank you WE, for empowering me to chart a course towards a brighter future.
