Projects reviewed by industry professionals. The way that learning works in Turing is as... Read More follows: curriculum is spilt into sprint, each sprint is a topic (A/B testing, Cohorts, etc). In each sprint after completing the theory, you have to do a practical projects. Then these practical projects are graded by an industry professional during an 1-on-1 meeting. A lot of other bootcamp miss this human touch, a professional that can tell you why you approach is ok, but may run into maintenance issues in the future and such. 2. A flexible learning model. There are no classes so you can learn wherever and whenever you want. There are deadlines for each sprint of course and you have to meet with your batch in weekly standups. But even standups have 2-3 times to choose from each week, so it very very flexible. 3. Community. Community is not a nice to have, but an essential part of the learning experience. You have to participate in weekly standups, you have to do project reviews for other learners or you won’t be able to progress with your own material, you have to help other people in discord (this one is not mandatory, but if you won’t help other, other won’t help you). You make friends and a lot of good connections this way. 4. Help getting employed. One of the main selling points of Turing is that ~97% or something like that people get employed no longer than 6 months after graduation, so they are very interested to keeps this number up. They help to setup you linkedin and github, search for roles and get ready for interviews. They are partners with a lot of different companies that help create the curriculum, so Turing will make sure that you get employed. I got hired while still studying. There are scheduled open sessions and stand ups, but you can DM other peers or team leads regarding projects anytime. 😉 Well selected up to date content of the studies, challenging projects and objective evaluations with senior team leads (industry professionals), usefu feedbacks. In general very positive and supportive, motivatin community. It was hard, but i wasn't feeling left alone with projects. Possible to manage work and studies, but in this case i would recommend to priories studies. Since duration of course depends on you (how much time you invest) possible to finish course even in 2-4 months
