I would not recommend this program at all. The first few courses were ok with the help of the instructor. Just finished my first class and have hit the ground running on the second. I chose the 34 week course to give me extra time to absorb it all. There explanations are simple to follow and the site navigation is well designed. My mentor is always willing... Read More to help on slack or using zoom video chat. Even my recruiter Jesenia follows up with me once or twice a week. Any problems are immediately worked on in a timely matter.

Be prepared to work hard. Know that google is your best friend. Monitor slack for helping other students whom you can help as others will help you.

Coders are not people with problems, they are professional problem solvers.

I was hesitant about coding bootcamps at first, since there seems to be so many different camps with mixed opinions on how well they prepare you. I can tell you that Woz U was one of the hardest things I've done, but once completed, i felt very well prepared... Read More for my interviews. You have to think that this program may not be for everyone, but i was not really a tech person before i started, and by busting my chomps, i graduated. I would warn future students that this is not a pay-for-a-degree kind of online program, they really work you pretty hard, and are serious about ensuring their grads are prepared.

I thought it couldn't get any worse than my previous to online university experience....I was wrong. I was suspended without just cause for incomplete assignments.. All anyone had to do was review my record (which I was abruptly and without warning dropped... Read More from even being able to review my own grades or transcripts between instructors.. After bringing to my mentors attention at least two times set my grade was not reflecting my assignments he assured me that everything was fine on his end. My final project not being on time due to the instructor not submitting it into the system is not the same as me not completeing it. He admitted this to me rwice when i raised concer over my grade still registering as an F. He assured me that on his end everything was passing and i was fine to move on which i did . This is a failure on the part of the administartion and the staff at WOZ-U and exiter.... I gave everything I had for over a month , countless hoursof my time and thousands of dollars in loans that I won't see ever see again. This is my life I put on hold to do this program and the programis the thing that failed the student. Sad.

This was coincidentally just before my mentor left on vacation when he said this to me and while he was gone for seven days I had no mentor and no one that was of any assistance.
This is when I got expelled!
After doing the thorough research online I should have done before joining I discovered that I am not the only one who is having two similar experience but one thing we all have in common is that everyone is attending was you using federal financial aid and Loan money. This place is a scam avoid it at all cost

I had a great experience with the Full Stack Development program. My assigned mentor was very helpful and other mentors were helpful as well. The course expects a lot from you, especially if you have no prior knowledge of programming or web development... Read More whatsoever. Expect to spend 30+ hours a week studying and working on projects. If you have prior experience like myself then 10+ hours a week may be more realistic. If you’re serious about wanting to be a full stack developer, then take the course and put in the extra effort to succeed. I started developing 4 years ago. Will be graduating from Woz U on 09/20 and I can say I regret nothing. Learning to program was the best decision in my life.

Throughout the program you can really feel overwhelmed and concerned about how fast you are going through the program, but that’s just the pressure to do well. The cons for me were two fold. 1) Living in a small town like Flagstaff, the availability to get a junior job that paid decent wasn’t there 2) The overall cost of the school was a bit high considering the average junior web dev job pay is fairly low

This is a fast-paced program where you learn how to build an entire web application in less than a year. The information is overwhelming if you don't manage your time and ask questions.

I started the program at the beginning of the year learning JavaScript... Read More and graduated. My experience was frustrating at times but overall it was rewarding. It's obvious how new the bootcamp is due to the amount of errors and issues with their lessons, but if you're savvy with the Google engine, it wasn't much of an issue. Having a mentor is very nice as there is someone you can bug with a bunch of questions regardless of how dumb those questions may seem. Several of the mentors helped me and they were each wonderful. Without their guidance, I probably would have had a much harder time. I'm happy with my experience.

I recommend looking at some free online resources first to get a taste of what programming is about. Look at a couple tutorials. If you like it, then definitely try out a boot camp. There may be a ton of free online resources out there, but there is no guidance and no one to fall back to when things get hard. At least with a bootcamp, you will meet other students who are learning with you, you'll know exactly what to learn instead of just bumbling around the internet, and you have a mentor who can look at your code for you and help with errors. At Woz U, it's cheaper than college and they have scholarship opportunities.
