Inside Scoop: Thinkful Expands to New Locations

As the song goes, Thinkful is shipping up to Boston, woah… Well, sort of. While our company continues to offer programs in data science, web development, and design to students around the country, we're excited to expand our on the ground programming to a number of new cities including the home of Red Sox.

This month, Thinkful is coming to three amazing cities. Here's what we like about each one:

Boston

Home to the country's first designated innovation district, Boston has some of the greatest need for tech talent of any city in the country. - currently there are over 3k developer job openings. From participating in the city's numerous hackathons to sampling its world famous chow-dah, we couldn't be more excited to launch our Boston coding bootcamp.

Philadelphia

Founded in 1682, Philadelphia is not only one of America's oldest cities, it's also one of its most innovative. Among its many first are the nation's first fire department, library, hospital and university. Today it is the 10th largest job market for developers and home to major corporations like Comcast NBC Universal as well as a booming start up scene. Our Philadelphia coding bootcamp is excited to help connect great local talent to great local companies.

Denver

With record high rents in Silicon Valley, some of the world's most valuable tech companies have recently turned to Denver to expand and recruit new talent. 2018 alone has seen a number of high profile moves including Slack's decision to bring an estimated 550 jobs to the area. We believe now is the right time to offer our Denver coding bootcamp to help ease the strain on the city's extremely tight labor market.
