SE Factory (‘Software Engineering Factory’) is Lebanon’s leading non-profit coding bootcamp, teaching young computer science and computer engineering graduates all the hard and soft skills needed to become highly employable professional software engineers and access top local tech jobs.
Thanks to our partners, the subsidized registration fee enabled our program to be accessible for students from various socioeconomic backgrounds.
We are proud to share that 90% of our graduates have found employment and many have even doubled their income, moving them from low to middle-income in just a few months.

SE Factory was the main reason i call myself software engineer today.
It introduced me to the main concepts that every software engineer should know, what should i avoid and what should i focus on.
What's right and what's wrong
I will always owe SE Factory a big part of my success and forever i'll be grateful to their dedicated hard work
Getting familiar with latest technologies, assignments and projects dead lines, code review after each assignment, public speaking sessions, working with colleagues... It really helped me get my first step into the industry
SE factory has given me the healthy lifestyle of learning on a daily basis. It's not like any other normal training bootcamp bounded by certain time. It's a community that keeps on growing limitlessly. People at SE factory do not just share their coding experience they share their life experience and this just makes the whole difference.
With SE factory, I learned how to write professional code using the best practices. Moreover, my approach to design, write, and analyze programs changed and became more systematic. During a short time, I was exposed to many technologies and completed various challenges that boosted my programming skills. I think that SE Factory adds to the theories taught at universities the practical flavor which is necessary for the job market.
Any attendee could benefit from entering the program by developing a better understanding of how frameworks work, this program may be short in time but it has great benefits way more than the university like 1000 times, for me university was just briefing and unbeneficial however the great benefits comes when i finished the bootcamp
SE Factory is one of the great experiences I ever had. It is simply the path for every fresh developer to gain and sharpen his/her skills. It enlighten developers with best practices and techniques to tackle any given task. Honestly I can't really think of not even one disadvantage in this program.
I owe a SE factory big time for the skill set i learned, "The learn how to learn things" concept that the instructor embedded in us, along with other lessons that range in criteria from how to write clean code, how to think right when certain conditions apply and how/where to look for answers.
without SE factory I would be somewhere else in my life, I am glad such a 3 month course managed to change me drastically to the better.
21 years have already passed, and I really can not remember if I really lived a time where I L(EARNED) something very useful in my life as in my SE Factory journey.
At SE Factory, I shifted from zero to hero. I was lacking all practical and technical skills, and this was the main reason of me joining the program.
After couple of weeks of the beginning of the bootcamp, I started knowing what Computer Science is really about, and that knowledge took me to another place, and that’s all I wanted!
Helped me in adopting the learning methodology that allows you to learn any new technology, framework, language easily.
Well studied and organized curriculum from backend to frontend (LAMP stack)
Real-world scenarios being tackled in challenges
teaches and improves soft skills
The knowledge I gained in this bootcamp could have taken me a year on my own; the guidance through the program is delicately designed to help fresh grads know what they are missing to become professionals. The emphasis on continuous learning can change the mindset of whoever takes this course, not to mention the brilliant guest speakers who deliver tech talks about a variety of computer science work related topics. Finding a job after finishing the program was made easy, due to the exposure we had as students to companies and to the excellent skills we were able to add to our resumes. In summary, SEFactory is the 1-3 years of experience that employers ask for.
There are many pros for joining SE Factory but one stands out of the rest, and its the ability to learn how to learn. We where constantly thrown projects that we didint know much about and urged to step up and solve it on our own. The projects would then become subject to code reviews, done in front of everyone so all would learn from each other. Emphasis on coding style along with efficient approaches to solutions . In no way did our instructor really step in to help us with specific technologies, he always worked with us on an abstracted level where we would have to generate the solutions for ourselves. We where given assignments that are meant to enhance our abilities and skills to cope with the growing market. There is a massive gap between what an individual learns in university an...Read more
