And he offers it all for free! They do it because they want to help the community and are passionate towards helping companies get better at agile. I am so glad I found The Job Hackers. I can't say enough good things about Larry Apke the instructor with The Job Hackers . His online classes were excellent and easy to follow. He had very relevant project and product stories to back up his teaching on how Agile and Scrum can be used in... Read More business. He normally teaches these classes in a class room but had to switch to a full Zoom meeting setup (because of Covid 19) which was very well run and organized. Edward, his Zoom assistant, did a great job answering student questions in the chat room as Larry taught the class.

I knew a few of the students in our online class of 200+ and we all agreed Larry did an outstanding job for the classes he taught on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:30 - 9:00 AM. The students were very involved and interested in what Larry had to teach and how we could apply it to our current and future projects.

I come from a project management Waterfall background, so Agile and Scrum were kind of new for me. I was familiar with both but never really understood what they were and how I could apply them in future work. Larry gave me and many of my classmates a good start on how to move forward and go for the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) Certification. Thanks Larry and looking forward to perhaps taking the class again to keep my Agile and Scrum skills fresh and up-to-date! Todd Benson

Larry has a unique way of communicating and making it more practical and bringing real life examples. The Job Hackers online Agile MBA is very good and a solid course to prepare someone for the agile certification. I learned a lot.

When I started the course I had very low expectation for the class and about Scrum in general (bad experience), but understanding... Read More the fundamentals of Scrum framework, I can see all that went wrong in my previous experience, what could be done in such situations.
The examples Larry gives for every aspect are perfect, it gives us a clear practical understanding of Agile and Scrum.
The only negetive (even that is not really a big deal ) is their online optional Lab was not as clear and informative as Larry's classes. This again is not really negative but more of a glitch due to the online setting. They have done this in person in the past and now its online (due to COVID) which has brought in a few glitches in the class.
Irrespective of this the Class has given me so much insight to information that I cannot thank the entire Job Hacker team enough.
Especially as they are all volunteers and do not get paid for this. Really appreciate all the effort that Larry and his team has put into it.

Each class room session was recorded and the class chat script published making review of class material very easy. The material presented was excellent and I would recommend anyone interested in team dynamics and team motivation to attend Agile MBA, this class goes beyond simply understanding Agile or Scrum. An added benefit is the pay-it-forward program where you are allowed to use volunteer hours to offset the cost of the program. I would recommend Agile MBA to anyone who wants to learn about Agile and Scrum. They also help you prepare for your Professional Scrum Master I certification. Excellent program!
