Indianapolis was ranked sixth in up-and-coming cities for tech jobs according to job search engine Ziprecruiter, and has experienced significant growth in tech jobs in the last decade, including more than 5,000 computer and IT jobs from 2009-2014. The tech industry also contributed $14.1 billion to the city’s economy in the year 2017 alone.
