I'm not saying at all that a degree is worthless or unnecessary because I really want to get a BA but this course gives me the opportunity to work and do school at a slower pace.

The faculty is all there for you when you have a question plus there is a whole community of devs there for you when ever you are having any issues.

Not only have we learned so much through the curriculum, but they are very involved in the job search process. I am near the end of the program and am so excited to start my career! Bottega is quite unique in that they were a dev shop first (Slate Development) that knew they could improve the bootcamp model especially since they were a company already hiring in part from the bootcamps in place already. They are continuing to refine... Read More and update their content for the changing and competitive landscape of software and web development. The curriculum is awesome and thoughtfully laid out and prepared. The staff is focused on your individual success and growth and provide tons of support. It is a great atmosphere and incredible to be across the hall and rub shoulders with and learn from the dev team working on live projects! ...and yes, there are tons of snacks and a ping pong table :D

I have learned so much in so little amount of time. It is definitely fast pace and you have to stay on top of the curriculum. The instructor/assistant are very helpful and always there if we have questions. The days are long, sitting in front of the computer... Read More for hours, but we are able to take breaks when needed. The homework is purposeful and is always something that we went over that day, so the information sticks in your brain. I would recommend to take the extra step and rewatch the video tutorials of that day or week when you have the time, even better if you watch them the day before so you have an idea of what you will be doing. When following along with the videos, I would usually just focus on getting the code/each step of the process correct instead of understanding and listening to the content being taught. Overall, I think the program is great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
