I have previously tried learning Python from a Udemy course, it was great however I find it difficult to retain the concepts hence thought that maybe Python was not for me. Fast forward a few months, I decided to map how I will go about pursuing a career... Read More in Data Science. After researching blogs on the different boot camps and courses available, I thought of giving DataCamp (free version) a try. Since then, I have been consistently progressing, reviewing, practising Python through Datacamp and can't wait to complete it! :)

Pros:
* Free version gives a good overview
* Mobile and PC versions available
* Practices are bite-sized and can be completed quickly
* Content structure is great with practical exercises in between
* Easy to navigate through the Modules to review past contents

Cons:
* Mobile courses are not as extensive..yet

I don't have experience coding but now I'm using Datacamp to learn R, SQL and Python. The Instructors are teaching very challenging ideas that are helping to retrain and equip me with useful skills for my business. You can easily track your progress while... Read More providing feedback in real-time to Datacamp instructors on enhancements and areas for de-bugging. The pricing is very fair and without this service I would definitely not be learning new programming languages.

Ejercicios didácticos, guías prácticas y un método gamificado que hace más cómodo el aprendizaje. Te estimula a progresar y a aprender más.
Pros:
- El horario depende del usuario, y puedes aprender a tu ritmo.
- Cada ejercicio puede repetirse en un entorno... Read More con las mismas funciones del programa.
- Puedes repasar tu avance si te olvidaste de un dato de una clase pasada.
- Las pistas realmente sirven como retroalimentación cuando te quedas estancado.
- Sus cursos de prueba te dan ganas de comprar la suscripción ;).

Cons:
- No hay versión en español, así que es importante saber ingles o andar con la pestaña del G traductor a la mano.

Extras:
-> Si tienes disciplina te irá excelente, si no tienes 9 cursos para adaptarte, no es recomendable pagar 1 mes para nunca usar el sistema.
-> Referencias de cultura pop por todas partes, personalmente lo considero un plus por lo entretenido; me sacó unas risas durante el curso :)

Pros:
- Instructions are easy to follow and learn in R and Python (sometimes incorporated with funny jokes :))
- Lots of coding practices on the R Console
- Environment is engaging. The side-by-side console and instruction designs help to gear beginner... Read More or intermediate coders to try out many functions.

Cons:
- Sometimes need to review for the materials, but DataCamp does that very easily as it gives regular practices even after you finished a course

Pros:
Value for money,
I can learn at any time of the day and pause and continue my learning at any moment.,
Learning paths are mapped and easy to follow
Each module is broken up into about 3-5 x 1 hour sessions,
You can make some good progress dedicating... Read More just 1-2 hours a day,

Courses are added, industry or skill set specific, and I am looking forward to completing some of those as well

I feel a "Village feel" while learning at DataCamp

No complaints from me, I am enjoying my time on DataCamp. I know that I will continue to learn and experience the joy for some time.

Cons:
Don't get yourself overloaded! DataCamp have many new learning opportunities ...I am eager to explore them. Tip: complete 1 module at a time :)

Having recently finished a Graduate Scheme aimed at equipping bussing data gurus with the skills to enter the world of Data and data Visualisation I soon found that there are a whole host of other tools out there to add to our toolkit.
I stumbled across... Read More Data Camp when looking at ways to learn Python from a complete beginner level to a competent level by reading, watching, and doing which is exactly what DataCamp provides.

I also later came to find that Data Camp was a recommended resource in my company (BCG) which proved its worth even more!

The courses were clearly built with love, and the instructors' enthusiasm for the subject shows in every exercise. Fantastic user experience!

Not a fan of 'input box learning' like Codecademy etc. and in truth, you won't become a data scientist with Data... Read More Camp alone. However, data science is something that many people need a little hand holding, so the format of instruction lends itself well to the content.

J'ai découvert Datacamp il y a quelques mois. Je suis très contente d'acquérir des compétences en data science avec eux.
J'ai beaucoup apprécié les cas pratiques pour chaque cours, alternés avec les vidéos d'explications.
Le principe des XP qui permet... Read More de suivre ma progression est très intéressante car elle permet de rester motivé.
La partie "Practice" en plus des cours permet de s’entraîner quotidiennement : très bien fait !.
Je recommande vivement Datacamp.
