"Coding for Newbies - FES is AWESOME"
I'm currently still a student at FES, and I must say that I am so impressed with this program thus far. The materials and the courses are catered to help you succeed 100%! I have to give a shout out to the mentors. The fact that they are ALWAYS there... Read More
I feel that I've been making quick progress due to the teaching style of the program and the projects, especially with the availability of the mentors to help guide me when I'm stuck.
Of course the world of frontend web development is astronomical, so with some of the concepts I feel like they may not have been covered in the course when it comes to the projects, and I have to look them up myself. But again, use of the mentors is very helpful! I have nothing bad to say about this institute at this time.

"Great Structure For Beginners"
The mentors at FES are so patient and explain things you're having trouble with so well. I started this journey as a complete beginner, so I had many questions and got frustrated with myself quickly. My mentors are always quick to help me and tell me... Read More
Pros: Mentors available 24/7 for help, Zoom calls available anytime for troublesome topics, in-depth explanations on every topic, code along videos with experts.
Con: Sometimes, the mentor on the code along videos talks a bit fast to follow easily, but the videos are easily replay-able.

"Front End Simplified - Coding for Newbs :D"

"Informative Modules and Incredible Mentors!"
Where do I begin?
Pros:
1. The modules are designed and made to be beginner friendly! David breaks down the concepts from HTML to JS to React in terms that are understandable and learnable for beginners.
2. How quickly you gain experience and skills is... Read More
Cons
1. Some of the modules may seem repetitive. But they are made to be that way. You only learn the basics of HTML, CSS, JS, and React if they are hammered into your head until you know them like the back of your hand.
2. Some of the modules are quite extensive. This isn't meant to exhaust you. They succeed only when YOU succeed. Sure, you could get a job as a frontend software engineer with mediocre skills. But FES doesn't settle for mediocre, they want you to walk into interviews with swagger thats based off of real experience and knowledge based confidence, not inflated confidence. The more you know and can show you're capable of only increase the likelihood of a higher salary and a better job.
