I am new at coding and was skeptical on the guarantee from Front End Simplified that I would be able to code within a few weeks but with the lessons on the basics of coding: HTML, CSS and JS and with the mentors who are there to help you when you get... Read More stuck completing hands on activities and projects, I feel that I have become faster and better at coding even to the point that I started practicing outside of the lessons. I am getting to the advanced lessons where the coding is becoming a bit deeper and more complicated but the mentors are with me every step of the way which puts me at ease and gives me the confidence not to give up on the process of becoming a employed coder. Don't get me wrong, I am not an expert and I need a lot more practice but I feel confident that I'll be able to master coding with Front End Simplified.

This curriculum is really good at getting straight to the point and cutting through all the noise when it comes to learning a new skill. I love that there's a lot of information to learn, however the instructor can sometimes speak too quickly and I find... Read More myself rewinding the videos or playing them at a slower speed in order ot understand what was being taught. Other than that, no real issues!

I would recommend this course for anyone trying to get their feet wet learning how to code and turning it into a career

Pros:
1. The modules are designed and made to be beginner friendly! David breaks down the concepts from HTML to JS to React in terms that are understandable and learnable for beginners.
2. How quickly you gain experience and skills is... Read More ENTIRELY up to you. Some may see that as a Con, but I think its fantastic. Your schedule, your time, your future.
3. Mentors are available 24/7 with their chat help almost instantly OR actual video calls with a few minute wait. Actual video calls? Maybe its just me, but thats incredible. Stuck on some tiny .js error? Send a chat and get a response from a professional who breaks it down for you. Having a more serious issue with media queries? Send a chat or make a video call and they will help you until the problem is resolved and understood.
4. The biggest pro of them all. JOB GURANTEE (or job offer of no less than 60K salary) or MONEY BACK + interest. How reassuring is that? They are generous too, giving refunds to students who have unforseen health issues, unexpected life events, etc.

Cons
1. Some of the modules may seem repetitive. But they are made to be that way. You only learn the basics of HTML, CSS, JS, and React if they are hammered into your head until you know them like the back of your hand.

2. Some of the modules are quite extensive. This isn't meant to exhaust you. They succeed only when YOU succeed. Sure, you could get a job as a frontend software engineer with mediocre skills. But FES doesn't settle for mediocre, they want you to walk into interviews with swagger thats based off of real experience and knowledge based confidence, not inflated confidence. The more you know and can show you're capable of only increase the likelihood of a higher salary and a better job.

The beginning interview I had with Navid went very well. He took the initiative to get to know me and had an interest in what my hobbies and extracurricular activities were. He made sure that this is the career path I wanted to pursue and that I was making... Read More the right decision. I would whole heartedly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in coding (even if you're a complete beginner like me) and wants to work to achieve their goals.

The course has been simplified, made relevant, and broken down for easy understanding. The tutor are knowledgeable, caring, patient, and always willing to help. I never felt intimidated. I have no background in coding, but thanks to the team, I'm getting... Read More there. I go according to my pace without any pressure.

I have not finished my course completely yet but I am on the final project and I have had an amazing experience so far. I've learned so much and have already recommended this to a few people. The projects are tuff and force you to use all your knowledge, and anything you don't know you can ask a mentor for 24/7 support. I've had a lot of fun learning and building websites all because of this program. 10/10

This coding journey is definitely worth the time and effort! Been learning so much and is definitely worth the time investment! I like what I’ve seen so far on this course. The course structure is very easy to follow and understand, although the videos where David teach can be overwhelming since he goes too fast on the topics, I would suggest reducing the speed on the video, so... Read More you have more time to grasp what he is saying. This is a very intense course where you will be learning a lot and therefore feel overwhelmed with a lot of topics and concepts to cover every week. The key to learning as much as you can is reviewing and re reviewing what you have already learned, as it is easy to forget what you have learned a week before. The mentors are very helpful and really dedicate their time to try to understand your issue and fix it. Although they really encourage you to try and debug the problem yourself first, that’s how you learn the most. The course offers practice information more than conceptual terminology, so searching things yourself should be your best practice as well. AI has helped in multiple scenarios to understand syntax and their meaning, so I really encourage whoever joins the bootcamp to learn how to search things on your own.

I have learned so much in such a short amount of time from this course and there is no shortage of help if I don’t understand something.
Having the mentors available 24/7 as well as the community with the other students makes moving forward feel more... Read More than possible.
There are so many resources available, it feels like you’d have to actively not try to fail.
