I can't say enough positive things about my experience. Right now, I’m currently working with Rob, and submitting my applications and I’m already getting some interview invitations. I am so thrilled for this new chapter in my life and I have Yellow Tail Tech to thank for that.

They approached the lessons in a very engaging manner and all my instructors and TA’s are knowledgeable on the lesson so it made me feel confident. I also like that the program structure is laid out very well. It’s very helpful for people who have an emergency to go to and they can’t attend class because of it so they can just see the recording. It’s absolutely hard work. I believe that no one can be successful without putting an effort for the things they want and that’s what I did when I was learning Linux. I wanted to make myself proud and also make my instructors proud. They’ve been really supportive to me since day 1 and I really admire them for it. The activities that Rob, our Career Success Coach, provided were also very helpful. It's really something that I made sure to join. Yellow Tail Tech provided the right environment for learning and I’m so grateful for it.

Yellow Tail Tech has a very well-designed teaching structure. The infrastructure of the program has a very well thought out plan to help you achieve the goal of becoming a System Administrator. I also appreciate how they know that it will take some time... Read More to be an IT professional so they have a slower pacing. They don’t rush us so that’s a plus! A great program like this can take some time but it’s totally worth it. I would rather have this anytime than having a 6 week-course and end up not gaining enough knowledge or hands on experience. If I could rate my overall experience, it would be 100/10 and I’m not even exaggerating. From their onboarding up until my program completion, I have experienced nothing but excellent support.

I had no time and money to study because I was raising 2 girls so I just kept my job in the army even though it wasn’t really what I wanted to do. When I got out of the army I had to put my kids to college so I did 2 jobs while working on the side. It was my daughter’s idea to put me back to studying when she saw a Yellow Tail Tech ad. I didn’t want to pursue it but they pushed me to do it because they know that, that’s what I’ve always wanted to do. They even paid for my tuition. It was hard for someone my age at first but they guided me every step of the way. Special thanks to Zee who never gave up on me. I really appreciate how much care they put into my success. I never imagined I could still get a job in IT but I did. Now, I’m a Linux System Administrator at John Hopkins. It’s unbelievable. This is the best program ever!

I talked to my sister and she agreed to be my co-signer and there, I’m already enrolled. I was very excited for the program and it did not disappoint. Everything was on point! I’ve been assigned to one of their best instructors, David and I am very happy as hell! He’s just making it seem so fun and light for us even though it’s not easy, but I’m trusting him and the whole team! Right now, we’re about to go into the internship after I passed my certification and I couldn’t be more excited. I heard we’re going to complete a lot of tickets and I’m really looking forward to it.

There were no questions from my side about the program because I already know what I’m getting myself into. I know that if I follow Yellow Tail Tech’s process I’m already winning. The cert prep sessions were something that I couldn’t forget because when I took the Red Hat exam the things that we discussed and practiced were also there so I felt really confident when I took it. I just passed a month ago and I’m now getting ready for the internship. I’m very excited about the next steps, my daughter who’s also studying. We study together at night so we bond together while I’m listening to the recorded discussions and she’s also doing her stuff. I like that Yellow Tail Tech puts great emphasis on the basics because it’s really the foundation. I believe that you will never know the value of high-level concepts if you have a fragile idea of the basics. I also appreciate our instructors for being the best at what they do and motivating us all the time. Yellow Tail Tech is 100% the best IT training school out there.

I signed up right away and I am very happy with how flexible and considerate the payment scheme is. Right now, I’m currently at the cert prep course and I’m amazed how hands on they are. They give us a lot of practice tests and I’ve heard from the past students how close the practice tests are to the actual exam. It’s just a matter of practice and confidence and right now I am 100% ready to take my exam.

Read More very beginning like, this week this is what we're gonna do, this coming week this is what we're going to discuss so I’m all for it because it makes me work hard to practice and you know since there’s a designated time for a topic to be finished I know what’s my next step, I know where I’m going. Our instructor was Georges and he really helped us out. There were times when I posted a question on Slack and he replied immediately even though it’s midnight already. The TA’s and instructors are always there to guide us, so I never really felt like I was on my own. The program structure also is very nice. It's built for people with no IT background which is really nice because they’ve kept their promise of helping people with no IT background. I just passed my Red Hat exam and I’m now on my internship part but Yellow Tail Tech is still here. Rob, our Career Success Coach gives us several activities every week, so that’s really nice. There was one time when they had an event about Overcoming Imposter Syndrome and I joined that event because I was feeling kind of down so that really helped me knowing that I’m not the only one experiencing it. Yellow Tail Tech really gives all the support a student needs when it comes to being an IT Professional. I will never regret being a part of this program, and I’m so excited to where I’m gonna be in the future.

Read More I wanted to spend more time with my family, I wanted a work-life balance while earning a lot too. I can’t deny that at first I was scared. It’s like jumping off a cliff. I didn’t know if I would survive or not, but Allan made sure that we understood everything. He would really take the time to answer even the most basic questions I have. I felt secure knowing that I’m in the right program. Everything seems to be working really well. The modules are great, the instructor and teacher assistants are the best, and I’m really blessed to have found this program that helped me get certified within 6 months. I’m really happy that from having a toxic job, I am now a Linux System Administrator and I am confident that in a few weeks, I’ll be able to get a high-paying job too! Trust the process!

Jubee made sure everything was clear from the very beginning he says, you have to really put in the work and I like that because it sounds very genuine to me. My instructor David was really awesome. The class was fun and engaging so we talked and discussed and it’s just learning while having fun at the same time it’s not boring. I’m now about to take my Red Hat exam and I am kind of nervous and excited at the same time but I’m confident really with my skills and with what I have learned. The people at Yellow Tail Tech know what they are doing, from the instructors, TA’s, and we also have a Student Success Coach who we can go to every time we have questions about the whole program so I like that too.
