It was a lot to take in and the class moved quickly into very deep subjects, sometimes using advanced mathematics. And though the nuts and bolts of those higher-level maths were beyond me, they were pointing you towards seeing questions as expressible... Read More and solvable math problems. This came after diving into Python which is a deep pool, but very soon into being introduced to the subject - you begin with variables and functions, it all tries to come together in your head as you work the tests and projects. It's like learning a language - you start with basics, but they're disjointed, but connections start forming over time. It's kind of exciting because it's a whole field of endeavor (Data Science), a discipline if you will, out there that I didn't know anything about. Is it a classically a "Science"? I'm not sure - but I'm really kind of curious to find out. So - I found this to be a good start to what I hope will be a long and enjoyable adventure.
