You also have access to Great Learning program managers via slack who usually answer your questions within a day. Being in between the jobs, I had time to study, watch optional videos and absorb the information, but it might be too intense for a person with a full time job and a family. pros: great professors, interesting topics, constant support from Great Learning. cons: might be too intense for person with a full time job and a family.

Coding and Statistic are two important pre-requisites to the program of Data Science & Machine Learning that I went through with MIT & Great Learning. I am totally new to coding; no prior knowledge nor experience before. Although I learned statistic before... Read More but that was a few decades ago. Worse still, I enrolled to the program of September 2023 cohort at the very last moment, like a week before the first mentor facilitated classes. Fortunately, there are very well-structured on-line pre-course materials that I could work through quickly to bring myself up to speed. It was tough for me specially on the knowledge of coding. What also help is that the project work was designed with an option of low-code version where coding was guided and the assessments focus on the ability to apply, interpret and draw and business conclusion. With the help of the instructor and program manager, I managed to complete all three projects with good scores. To these who are like me with little or no coding knowledge, I assure you not to worry. However, do enrol as early as possible so that you have a lot more time (not like me) to work through the pre-course materials and be better prepared yourself for the program proper.
