I wanted to better understand the business cases for data science in addition to getting some practical exposure, which has been great! I only wish it were more asynchronous, as my weekends and weeks can be quite full. This program offered the optionality to dig as deeply as I wanted into the technical and coding aspects of data science while also exploring practical business cases that enabled me to walk through the entire lifecycle of products and services through a data lens. The mentored learning sessions also helped to contextualize what I learned, especially given that we learn at an accelerated pace. If you can learn how to learn out loud and document what you learn along the way, ADSP can serve as a powerful resource for bridging skill gaps and enhancing your career goals.

The short videos, quizzes, exercises, external material, live lessons, and discussion forums make the experience very dynamic and digestible. Last but not least I really appreciated the low code version of the quizzes and projects because it adapted to exactly what I needed and still enabled me to learn a lot of programming.

So for me the possibility of having such a good experience to be able to learn deeply, having a good mentors or professors, and having a nice group of class mates was not possible at all. Well i was wrong, these three things ( learn deeply, good mentors /professors, a nice group of class mates) i have found in the MIT - Great Learning Experience, the course begin very slowly and a soft pace (the first month) but afterwards it really went very profound (more than i expected) and that really meant that the money was well spent. Then the mentors and professors, all were very skilled, really good teachers, the MIT professors as well the Great Learning mentors, with an excelent back up of notes, papers, case studies, and also very kind and helfpul. And the student community went from 'what a nice bunch of fellows' to really i want to meet them in person and thank them all the struggle that we went together, all the support among us. Pros: Content is good and relevant. Case studies and practice projects are interesting and instructive. Faculty: v. good. Mentors: good and provide insights to class material. Great Learning team support: prompt and accessible. Leaning management system:... Read More Easy to navigate and well laid out. Cons: Not 'all' content can be 'fully' covered in 12 weeks. Had to let go of some optional projects or cases studies, OR, you have to allot more than the recommended 15 hours per week. Some sessions/ videos for coding with new python toolboxes and libraries can be beneficial. The feedback to elective and capstone milestone came a bit late. Limited interaction among the learners in the cohort.

It was by pure luck that this Program draw my attention last Summer. Initially I had another course and certification in mind. The challenge was great due to my basic knowledge in Coding but if you code one day you would easily code later on !! Also I am Engaged in the data in my day to day work so my level of confidence was rather high. The Great learning online environment is of high quality with a rich and useful content. achieving the introductory part and pre work was a big challenge though. Once the classes and Mentoring Started i felt really in the mood of the Program and organized my work and WE to be able to achieve the best attendance level possible. My recommendation is to attend the most even on weekdays. this will make you feel part of it and bring you more confidence upon tackling the challenges and projects. Mentoring is of great value with a useful introduction part then real hands on achieving a good mentoring and making use of it is key in feeling successful. The full code and low code options upon completing your capstone project is also a nice way to make the participant at ease to achieve what he best can without feeling an unjustified pressure. I also realize that succeeding in this bootcamp is not only being able to get a certificate but to organize myself during the months that follow to keep practicing and using the material from Great Learning. I will recommend this Program , this is the best option I could see if you want to practice Data Science and when you have to tackle the constraint of your day to day Job.
