Read More I followed the unstructured path which enabled me to complete it within 12 months at a leisurely pace. So if something required a bit of time I could afford to take a few weeks off. Saying this, I learned a lot from every single project. The course also enabled me to implement the processes into my own UX work in my job. Helping me to understand the problem first and enabling me to challenge decisions that didnt meet user goals or business outcomes which often derailed the UX process. The course layout also makes it easy to go back and review previous modules - i did this a lot particularly when the module involved processes I wanted to introduce to the organisation, having the case study examples is really helpful too for this purpose. Id highly recommend this course to anyone interested in UX. Particularly if you are in an organisation with an engineering culture and find it difficult to articulate design thinking and things like research and validation - this course helps with that too. It is also very suitable for anyone with no prior experience in design or UX. The course teaches you the basics of Figma which is currently one of the most powerful tools for UX designers and is free to use. There is also amazing on-demand support in the slack channel you are added to. You can connect with other students and share projects prior to submitting for feedback. There is also a lot of job support, advice on portfolio submission and webinars on what hiring managers look for and interview prep. Regardless of experience this course will be sure to teach you something you didn't know or think of before!

Even as a seasoned web designer, I learnt a lot and I think it's a good course for people wanting to step into the field although some aspects may be a little challenging if you are a complete beginner. Whilst you won't get a personal mentor, the student success team are very response and willing to give advice when you have questions.
